Acumen in Focus – Photo Exhibition & Auction

Acumen in Focus – Photo Exhibition & Auction

After a lot of planning and many diligent meetings over the past few months, Oslo+Acumen is beyond excited to finally announce our second event this year, Acumen in Focus!

Thanks in part to our great sponsor and co-host TUNCO, Oslo+Acumen and TUNCO will collaborate once again helping to inform, educate and promote both their social entrepreneurship efforts among community members – this time through photography!

At this years photo exhibition and auction, we have the great privilege of featuring personal photographic images of Acumen in the field, which have been directly donated by Acumen’s CEO, Jacqueline Novogratz. Additionally, thanks to our great collaboration with and support from TUNCO, photographs from TUNCO’s very own Simon Ferguson will be showcased as well! You can check out Simon’s breathtaking images on his website to give you a taste of what is in store for the event!

Attendees will be also able to taste coffee from Acumen’s very own KZ Noir at the event! By simply drinking fair-trade, ethical coffee, we hope to highlight Acumen’s investments in the agriculture sector that have helped create various products we as consumers can easily purchase in order to help social entrepreneurship efforts. Furthermore, TUNCO will offer a discount on their delicious woks to all attendees, where every wok purchased helps feed a child in Vietnam! Last, but not least, the event will feature a raffle where attendees can purchase tickets in order to win various prizes including coffee from Roastworks Coffee Co., (KZ Noir buyers), copies of The Blue Sweater and much more!

With both organizations working collaboratively, we hope to create an afternoon of art, community connections and social entrepreneurship engagement! All proceeds raised from the photo auction, coffee kiosk, raffle and woks purchased will go directly to both Acumen and TUNCO’s social entrepreneurships efforts globally. We are excited to announce that the event is free and open to the public and will be held on Sunday, November 27 from 13:00-15:00. We look forward to welcoming you to this much-anticipated event, and look forward to another successful photo exhibition and auction!
